I verified from the section on PhoneticFilterFactory in filter-descriptions.adoc and from PhoneticFilterFactory javadocs that this is supposed to be {{encoder}} instead of {{encoding}}, and it was wrong for all the encoder types listed on the page. Fixed those references.
