All of our mailing lists are self subscribe. You will find a complete list
along with the the subscribe and post to addresses at
https://openoffice.apache.org/mailing-lists.html. Definitely subscribe to the
development list as it is the main list for development and information
concerning the project. To subscribe send an email to
dev-subscribe@openoffice.apache.org. You will receive an reply e-mail, reply
to that e-mail to complete you subscription. Be aware the reply could be sent
to the spam folder, so be sure to check there for it as well. You can then
post to the list at dev@openoffice.apache.org (dev@).

The first task we usually suggest is that you post to the dev@ mailing list
and introduce yourself; then do your first build. Our complete build guide can
be found at https://wiki.openoffice.org/wiki/Documentation/Building_Guide_AOO.
Any questions you may have about the project or help with the build, just ask
on dev@.

Again, welcome to the project, and I look forward to seeing you on dev@.
