Reg: Error in PDF generation using FOP

Hi

 

We are working on migration of our application from WSAD 5.1 to RAD 6.0,
in turn also upgrading jdk1.3 to jdk1.4. Our application uses FOP for
PDF generation. 

 

While running the application in RAD6.0 we are getting following error:

 

java.lang.AbstractMethodError:
org/apache/fop/svg/SVGElementMapping.addToBuilder

      at org.apache.fop.apps.Driver.addElementMapping(Driver.java:373)

      at org.apache.fop.apps.Driver.addElementMapping(Driver.java:384)

      at
org.apache.fop.apps.Driver.setupDefaultMappings(Driver.java:253)

      at org.apache.fop.apps.Driver.<init>(Driver.java:189)

      at
chubb.mirus.utilities.print.PdfCreator.init(PdfCreator.java:117)

 

 

We have downloaded and tried to resolve this with FOP v0.20.5. We have
tried both the binary jar available in Apache site as well as by
compiling and generating available source code with J2SDK1.4.2. We are
still getting the same error. 

 

We have taken all the jar files come along with FOP 0.20.5. Is there
anything to do with JRE in order to resolve this problem (e.g. Classpath
setting)?

 

Kindly let us know if you need any other information. Also please help
us by sharing the resolution.
