digest authentication and next version of slide

hi,
 
  can somebody, please, answer my following
 questions...
 1. when next version of Slide is scheduled to be
 released?
 2. will there be any API changes in the webdav client
 library in the next version of Slide?
 3. will it support digest authentication?
 4. any other major changes that are going take
 place?
