Tomcat 4.0 and Windows

Hello, I'm Paolo Vercesi and I'm totally new to this user list

I'm using Tomcat 4.0 in standalone mode on several machine:
- W2000 with SUN jdk 1.3
- W98 with SUN jdk 1.3.1
- Linux Slackware 8 with SUN jdk 1.3.1
- Linux Slackware 8 with SUN jdk 1.3
- Linux Mandrake (perhaps 7.2 or 8) with SUN jdk 1.3

On Linux machine, I've problem only when I use jdk 1.3.1. The OS return me a
"Segment violation error".
I resolved thins problem using exclusively jdk 1.3.

On Windows machines I can see certain pages only pushing "reload" button.
Other pages, like plain text JSP pages (from Tomcat 4.0 example), are
interpretated in a manner the could seem like real JSP page and so I see
non-sense pages instead of the plain text file.

Have you any suggestions for the prolem related to Windows?

Thanks
Best regards
Paolo Vercesi
