Aries parent pom

Hi,
I would like to release aries parent pom with version 2.1.0 in a few days.

What's changed?

https://github.com/apache/aries/commit/90db87e974b6665804a6b5154a591ff0125e9b9a

I've checked this version with blueprint plugin subtree and it works fine.

But before that maybe we can switch to java 8? Currently aries uses version
6 or 7.

What do you think about:
1) release of parent pom?
2) bumping java version to 8?

@Ray: Yes, it is optional for subprojects to use newer parent pom.

What's more I also propose to bump to the newest apache super pom (14 ->
20)(https://mvnrepository.com/artifact/org.apache/apache)

Provided that subprojects opt-in to it, right?

If so, I'm also fine with upping to Java 8.
