When attempting to build the mapreduce examples in hadoop-mapreduce-project, from the contents of the released source tarball hadoop-0.23.0-src.tar.gz, you hit a failure due to a missing file:

Note that this is after having run "mvn -Pdist -Pnative -Psrc -Dtar -DskipTests -DskipTest -DskipITs install" in the /tmp/hadoop-0.23.0-src directory. I can't find any aop.xml files in the source tarball, though they're there in svn.
