Menus based on Profile

Greetings everyone,

I was wondering whether anyone has or whether it is easy to set up Menu-ing
based on User Profiles. I know this is probably something that would need a
custom job but maybe someone has done this before.

Basically, a system 'admin' may log in and get a menu either based on a Role
Profile like 'admin' or a User Profile showing what menus should be available
to a person.

Has anyone done this and can comment whether using Jetspeed2 this is a light or
heavy piece of work?

This is somewhat already the case. You can modify the psml your self
to constraint it's access and visibility as a tab. You can also modify
the folder.metadata file to restrict access and visibility in the
folder menu. There are samples of this in the distribution or source
version of j2.
