OpenJPA API discussion

Hi,

I did some work last night on the API discussion that we had
yesterday. I wrote up some of my thoughts:

Please comment on the wiki page as you see fit.

Also, I've got a patch that implements much of what is discussed in
that page, except the enum switchover.
