[jira] [Created] (OAK-137) Query: content index

Thomas Mueller created OAK-137:
----------------------------------

             Summary: Query: content index
                 Key: OAK-137
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/OAK-137
             Project: Jackrabbit Oak
          Issue Type: Improvement
          Components: core
            Reporter: Thomas Mueller
            Assignee: Thomas Mueller
            Priority: Minor

The content index is able to index repository content, specially properties and values. There are two types of content indexes: a property index (all nodes with a given property are indexes), and prefix index (all values with a given prefix are indexes).

The content index stores its data as regular nodes in the repository.
