What to do against domain grabber?
Hi guys,
somebody on the recent slashdot story pointed out [1] that the domain
spamassasin.org leads the people to one of those nasty Google ad farms.
At least according to German law would that AFAIK be a violation of our
trademark. (At least do I remember some typo-cases which were won by Amazon
and eBay, not to speak of the ridiculous T-cases.) Can we do anything
against this?
Oh some other ones:
spamasassin.org -> spamcop.com :-(
spamassassin.com -> inboxcop.com
spamassassin.net -> some place holder page which is there since 2002
Cheers,
Malte

That's a nasty one.
IANAL, and would not want to be mistaken for one, but this article holds
out some hope for remedy under US law:
"Domain Name with Intentional Misspelling of a Trademark Violates
Anticybersquatting Consumer Protection Act"
