Proposal for enhancing skin capabilities

Summary: Proposal for enhancing skin capabilities
           Product: Jetspeed
           Version: 1.4b4-dev /CVS
          Platform: Other
        OS/Version: Other
            Status: NEW
          Severity: Enhancement
          Priority: Other
         Component: Layout
        AssignedTo: jetspeed-dev@jakarta.apache.org
        ReportedBy: apernoud@sopragroup.com

Using jetspeed, I had to modify the skin rendering in my project to allow more
features in portlet style. Now I can modify within a skin the all border of the
portlet.
To understand better what i'm talking about :

I've added skin features, everything is in css, and works fine under
IE/mozilla/netscape.
It doesn't break any existing skin, as you can see on the picture above.

Attached is the patch needed, and in the zip file are the gif and css needed (I
couldn't get them into diff patch, apparently cause they are new files and cvs
diff doesn't get them in the result...)

I don't know if you like the change, but if you like it then feel free to apply
the patch. Any comments/questions are welcome
