[jira] [Created] (WHIRR-640) Recipes and tests using whirr.template
should specify minRam there
Andrew Bayer created WHIRR-640:
----------------------------------
Summary: Recipes and tests using whirr.template should specify minRam there
Key: WHIRR-640
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/WHIRR-640
Project: Whirr
Issue Type: Bug
Components: service/cdh
Affects Versions: 0.8.0
Reporter: Andrew Bayer
Assignee: Andrew Bayer
Fix For: 0.8.0
Another gotcha I just uncovered - without ",minRam=2048" on the whirr.template value in the recipes or test properties for CDH, we end up with t1.micros, which doesn't work, unsurprisingly.

Andrei Savu commented on WHIRR-640:
-----------------------------------
How about adding a good default value for "whirr.template" to core/src/main/resources/whirr-default.properties?
{noformat}
whirr.template=osFamily=UBUNTU,osVersionMatches=10.04,os64Bit=true,minRam=2048
