I have been testing struts2-showcase-2.1.1 and struts2-rest-showcase-2.1.1, and both seen to work property by separate, but I try to make the code in the Rest application work in the Show Case and this is the error I get.. when I try to call any action in that priorly was working in the Showcase application.

This is actually by design. The Rest plugin alters how Struts works fundamentally and is therefore incompatible with the more traditional Struts application. One of these days I'd like to try to see if I could get it to be less intrusive, but for now, that's the way it is.
