Errors While Running sa-learn

When I run sa-learn on an mbox file, I get the following errors:

Use of uninitialized value at
/usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.005/Mail/SpamAssassin/Bayes.pm line 549.
Use of uninitialized value at
/usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.005/Mail/SpamAssassin/Bayes.pm line 551.
Use of uninitialized value at
/usr/local/lib/perl5/site_perl/5.005/Mail/SpamAssassin/Bayes.pm line 552.

This repeats over and over, not one for every message and sometimes not at
all, but usually I would say if the mbox file has 100 messages, I'll see
these three error repeated 10 times.

Any ideas what might be causing this?

What version of SA? Later versions require at least perl5.6

From what I've been able to put together so far, it seems that Perl 5.005
doesn't do the right thing (or at least not the same thing as the later 5.6.x,
5.8.x, etc,) in certain situations.

Upgrading to a newer perl will fix the issue.
