question about NM heapsize

hi,maillist:

    i set YARN_NODEMANAGER_HEAPSIZE=15000,so the NM run in a 15G JVM,but
why i see web ui of yarn ,in it's Active Nodes -> Mem Avail ,only 8GB? ,why?
