Getting a list of VHosts

hi.
I was looking through the Vhost.c file, and I can't see any function or method
which I could get a list of virtual hosts??? any clues?

what I am after is a collection of all the server_rec's so I could 
write some kind of mod_vhost_status page which would list all the vhosts and some 
info about the (based on the Vhost-type stats I described earlier)
