   Thanks @igalshilman for the contribution, I am not sure if I understood this change. Was it intended that in the default case nothing changed (we log the same message on the same level), but we change it to debug level (if this level is enabled) and print then only the message? 
   
   Was that intended? I would assume that in the debug cases we could actually log more than in the standard ones. Also could you describe a bit more, e.g. as a comment in the code why do we do it like this?
