[jira] [Created] (INFRA-7991) Please point github.com/apache/flume
to branch "trunk"
Mike Percy created INFRA-7991:
---------------------------------
Summary: Please point github.com/apache/flume to branch "trunk"
Key: INFRA-7991
URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/INFRA-7991
Project: Infrastructure
Issue Type: Bug
Components: Git
Reporter: Mike Percy
The Flume project migrated from SVN to Git a while ago, but still uses the "trunk" branch for development. Please set the GitHub apache/flume mirror to show trunk as the primary development branch. The master branch is the result of an erroneous push by a committer almost two years ago.
On my personal GitHub account, this is as simple as going to the project page, then clicking the Settings tab, and changing the entry in the "Default branch" drop-down menu.
