Xpath external function crashes on throwing an exception on mac

Hi All

I have an external function for xpath. If I throw an exception from this
function, the application crashes on the mac. This works fine on windows
though.
Do you have any clues for this? [since the external function is a callback,
exception specifications might conflict... but I'm not too sure.]
