I tried to get different metrics. You'll find screenshots in zip.
1 - second sartup 13sec(0.7) vs 23sec(1.0)
2 - firefox mem 333mb(0.7) vs 351mb(1.0)
3 - net transfer on drag-drop 20ms(0.7) vs 6ms(1.0)
4 - performance of 3 drag-drops of one processor
  0.7 - when i do nothing ff do nothing
  1.0 - when i do nothing ff calculates styles...
  so when i click and start dragging in 0.7 - no any delays
  but in 1.0 mouse could go far away from processor, long delay when processor starts moving...
  the same delay problem for any other ui actions - context menu, drag-drop of the pane, ...
