Performance Info

Does anyone have any performance benchmarks for FOP?  I'm looking for some
help here because I don't really know what metrics I'm looking for.

Also, are there any hardware requirements that may need to be considered?
The prototype I'm working on will generate Invoice documents off of
XML-based order information.  One of the questions asked was if the
'Invoice Generator' application will need to run on it's own server.

I know this seems a little vague, but at this point in time, I'm not really
sure what I'm going after.
