Quoting Mike Hall:

The attached patch (for 4.0.0) doesn’t change the cartridge agents’ functionality. What it does do, is allow a single plugin jar, to ‘override’ the original health statistics functionality, if it is passed in as part of the properties for the cartridge agent invokation.
