[jira] [Commented] (KYLIN-4915) Invalid setting JDBC property to
create cube
[ https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/KYLIN-4915?page=com.atlassian.jira.plugin.system.issuetabpanels:comment-tabpanel&focusedCommentId=17295904#comment-17295904 ]
elkan commented on KYLIN-4915:
------------------------------
What kind you want to do? I think that you want Kylin connect to different data source , just like PgSQL, Oracle and so on. Is that right? But I think Kylin only can support the model & cube running on Hadoop's hive data source, not RDMS database. The RDMS data source seems only connect and query, but not building.
And what the latest update about , hope hear your good news.

> Due to the requirements of the project, different JDBC datasources(MySQL/PgSQL/Oracle, etc.) are used when creating the project, which is effective at this time. Different databases can be loaded by configuring different properties.
> Net, after creating a series of processed such as model / cube, build. Creating a cube to reset JDBC properties is invalid.
> Phenomenon:
> # Set MySQL datasource in the configuration file, and it is ok to build through this properties.
> # Setting the MySQL datasource in the configuration file is invalid when building the cube.
