[jira] [Commented] (CALCITE-747) Use standard format for .sha1 and .md5 files

Julian Hyde commented on CALCITE-747:
-------------------------------------

[~jamestaylor], I see that Phoenix releases have the format that [~brane] wants, e.g. http://www.us.apache.org/dist/phoenix/phoenix-4.3.1/src/phoenix-4.3.1-src.tar.gz.md5 is {noformat}d87ed6e6340944bfea6fee3c0c758664 *phoenix-4.3.1-src.tar.gz{noformat} whereas http://www.us.apache.org/dist/incubator/calcite/apache-calcite-1.3.0-incubating/apache-calcite-1.3.0-incubating-src.zip.md5 is {noformat}63ea0765b6c872454472e31ac18bc394{noformat}.

How do you generate that format using maven? Do you use maven-release-plugin and -Papache-release?
