OK, red5 1.0.7 was released :)
RTMPS works in following configuration:

is broken :(
good news you don't need 2 apache servers on different hosts anymore :)

another bad news: screen-sharing over RTMPS is broken :( OPENMEETINGS-1358
I believe I can close this issue
