Depends if we think a planet is worth it (e.g., setting up a domain, finding / convincing people to create a blog)? It may be easier just to add relevant blogs to Apache Planet as they come up.

HOWEVER, we could have another blog like "Apache Mesos Community News" which we could post blog items from the community there (fairly easy to setup a tumblr or octopress blog on github).
