Mahout for windows

Hi,

 

Don't we have Mahout version available for windows.

When I tried to run examples from above link I ran it on windows I didn't
install cygwin or hadoop to run the examples.

Just wanna know why this worked and when I try  to build mahout on windows ,
during build itself it throwing error.

 

Can any one clarify this to me.

the build should run fine, I tried it yesterday on Windows and it was
successful.
