Yes, I know, I caught that when Rodney pointed it out. Most of the problems
I've seen with people recommitting files with all the line endings change is
because they check it out on windows onto a samba mount and commit it on
unix (I guess you get what you deserve in that case :)

I would like to see .tar.gz files at least built with LF's, and don't really
care about .zip's because of -a, but CRLF's sound reasonable as a lowest
common denominator.

So if someone would like to put the patch into JIRA, I'm sure it'll get
addressed in due course.
