question about adding revision numbers to SVN commit emails

I have a question about adding revision numbers to SVN commits..

I found this page http://svnbook.red-bean.com/en/1.2/svn.tour.revs.html but when I make this change, if we have email notifications configured for SVN commits, will this automatically get added to those emails?

I am not very good at SVN, your patience is appreciated.

Jonathan

I hope you're using the current version of Subversion, which is
1.4.6, and to go along with it, you should be reading the 1.4 version
of the book:

http://svnbook.red-bean.com/en/1.4/svn.tour.revs.specifiers.html

What change?

It's not quite clear: do you already have email notifications set up?
If so, which script are you using to send out the emails, and what is
your question about the emails? If you don't have it set up yet, what
have you tried so far, and what information are you asking about
seeing in those emails?
