Let me add a WORKSFORME for WAS 6.0 on Windows and RHEL on PPC.

EARs are really only ZIPs and Ant generated EARs are ZIPs with the implicit
knowledge that file names are encoded using UTF8.  Does your EAR contain files
with non-ASCII encoding?
