Outputting to the HttpServletResponse....

I am in an action method, and I need to respond with a plain text 
response (as opposed to a Page destination).  I hoped to just grab the 
HttpServletResponse and output what I needed and set the content type to 
"text/plain", but I then get an exception, I assume because Tapestry is 
trying to render the response.

Is there an easy way to do this?  What is the preferred mechanism?  Any 
examples?
