When disk is corrupted, the disk may show behavior of hang in accessing data.  One of the simulation that can be performed is to set disk IO throughput to 0 bytes/sec to simulate disk hang.  Ozone file system client can detect disk access timeout, and proceed to read/write data to another datanode.
