Ok so we are just about there.

Depends now if you want to do the rest yourselves.

[~crossley] and [~brian] have shell access to forrest-vm.apache.org - but no sudo yet until you let me know you have opie set up.

Once sudo is done feel free to set up a local 'forrest' user acct and crons etc.
I dont think we need to manage those in puppet.

All the pre-reqs you asked for are installed but do let me know if you have issues with any of them.

FYI the relevant parts of our puppet configuration are available to browse on github at:

2 questions:

1. do you need any more devs to have access to the VM?
2. will you want to re-use the DNS forrest.zones.apache.org at switchover or not bothered ?
