[jira] [Created] (NIFI-8253) GenerateTableFetch never commits the session

Matt Burgess created NIFI-8253:
----------------------------------

Summary: GenerateTableFetch never commits the session
                 Key: NIFI-8253
                 URL: https://issues.apache.org/jira/browse/NIFI-8253
             Project: Apache NiFi
          Issue Type: Bug
          Components: Extensions
    Affects Versions: 1.13.0
            Reporter: Matt Burgess
            Assignee: Matt Burgess
             Fix For: 1.14.0, 1.13.1

In NIFI-8136, the session.commit() call was inadvertently removed from GenerateTableFetch (rather than moved until after the session.setState() call). This regression was not caught by unit tests because no assertion was made that the session(s) had been committed.

The session.commit() call should be returned and the unit test(s) should assert the session(s) have been committed.
