Will the experimental C++ language binding become fixed?

Dear all,

I have a question concerning the Experimental Apache Recommended C++
Language binding. Will this API become fixed and conformant to the final
Level 3 W3C recommendations in the near future?

Best regards,

Saar

Referencing the Apache Recommended C++ Language Binding in an ISO/IEC JTC 1 International Standard

Posted by Saar De Zutter <sa...@ugent.be>.
Dear all,

We are involved in developing part of an ISO/IEC JTC 1 international
standard, i.e., ISO/IEC 21000-10 MPEG-21 Digital Item Processing. We would
like to normatively reference the Apache Recommended C++ Language binding
for realizing the use of the C++ DOM Load and Save and DOM Level 3 Core API.
For doing so we need the willingness of and finally the endorsement by the
Apache/Xerces to accept this referencing. Can someone please refer me to the
right person for discussing this issue?

Best regards,
Saar

Hi Saar,
we are currently updating the binding to the final recommendation of
the specs; you can get the code from the trunk of the SVN repository.
There will be some adjustments (w.r.t. the DOMStringList interface),
but it's pretty much how it will look.

Have a look at it and give us your feedback,
Alberto
