Currently atlas sends notifications to consumers for any entity create or update by sending messages to topic "ATLAS_ENTITIES" irrespective of consumers are interested or not. 

This can be configured by an application property which can be used to turn on/off the notifications from atlas. Something like "atlas.consumer.notifications.enabled = true/false".
