Strata 2016 developer showcase

Apache Calcite has been awarded a “developer showcase” at Strata + Hadoop World San Jose 2016. This means we’ll have a table in the expo hall where we can give demos, meet users, talk about the project between 10am and 7pm on Wed March 30th. It also means we’ll get two free passes to attend the conference.

I need your help. We have two passes, and it would be great if we had two presenters. You don’t need to be a complete expert on the project, and you’d get to meet users, other Apache developers, and attend some sessions. (The pass is good for the whole conference, Tue - Thu.)

Let me know if you’d like to help.

Julian

That would be great.

There is no plan. I’ll be at the table at 10am. Show up at any point later in the day, let me know what your schedule looks like, and take over when you can.

You & James should feel free to reach out on twitter and people them where they can see Calcite/Phoenix/Drill/Arrow demos.

I'll be presenting both days and can probably be able to staff the table
for a few hours. Julian, do you plan to put together a schedule to staff?

Thanks, James, that would be great. I’ll get a ticket for each of us.

Would love to be there, but I don't think I can make it out to San Jose
on the 30th.
