   I'm always in favor of switching to bnd-maven-plugin, but after looking into what is involved in this pom with wildcard inline embeds and a bnd anttask, it doesn't look like a "today" task anymore, and instead more like a "next week, maybe" kind of thing. I think we should do the simple upgrade now to get a clean release artifact and defer the bnd-maven-plugin conversion.
