Using Dojo 0.9.0 with Jetspeed 2

Hello:

I am attempting to use Dojo 0.9.0 with an installation of Jetspeed 2. I've
noticed that the current build of Jetspeed 2 has Dojo with the distribution,
however, the installation that I am currently modifying and that is up and
running does not have Dojo. I'm currently having problems trying to get the
Dojo libraries loaded. My current means of trying to do this is by simply
including the following in the header.vm file:

<script type="text/javascript"
src="#GetPageResource('dojo-release-0.9.0/dojo/dojo.js')"
djConfig="parseOnLoad: true"></script>

<script type="text/javascript">
    dojo.require("dojo.date.locale");
    dojo.require("dojo.parser");
    dojo.require("dijit._Calendar");
    dojo.require("dijit.layout.ContentPane");
    dojo.require("dijit.Tooltip");
    dojo.require("dijit.Dialog");

</script>

However this does not seem to load any of the libraries. Am I missing
something? Currently all the Dojo files are under the folder:
dojo-release-0.9.0 in the /etc/decorations/layout/testlayout folder.

Otherwise, how much work would be required to upgrade to a build of Jetspeed
that has Dojo as part of the distribution?

Thanks,

Chris Long

My advice would be to put your dojo 0.9 build on your web server, say
under /dojo, and then just put this in your header.vm:

<script type="text/javascript" src="/dojo/dojo.js"
djConfig="parseOnLoad: true"></script>

It will get served up much faster from your web server, especially if
you don't have all your js, html and css files packed into it and
compressed.
