[jira] Resolved: (INFRA-1068) people.apache.org/robots.txt is too
restrictive
Joshua Slive resolved INFRA-1068.
---------------------------------
Resolution: Fixed
Yes, this seems like restrictions carried over from the cvs=people days. I've changed it to
User-agent: *
Disallow: /builds
Disallow: /repo
Disallow: /repository
Disallow: /dist
I don't see any particular reason to disable access to other stuff including the /~ user directories.

> Access to ICS files produced by David Reid's apps, from Google Calendar, is blocked by people.apache.org's robots.txt file:
> User-agent: *
> Disallow: /
> Could this be made less restrictive so .ics files in http://people.apache.org/~dreid/ can be accessed from Google Calendar -- or other HTTP-based calendar systems?
