proxy.config.exec_thread.autoconfig.scale - default change in 9

Hi,

We’re in the process of migrating from 7.1.4 to 9.x. Today we noticed that the default value for proxy.config.exec_thread.autoconfig.scale has changed from 1.5 to 1

We were curious about the change and wondered if someone could provide some background information about it.

If we had been previously using the existing default of 1.5, is there any reason not to adopt the new default of 1 in ver 9.x?

Many thanks,

Nick

We have seen hardware with many cores it is more efficient with a scale factor of 1 vs 1.5. Since the number of cores are increasing in production hardware it was thought it was a better idea to have it set to 1.
