I would like to know the status of the JBI SDK request.
I'm really looking forward to try it with ServiceMix.
Is there anything i can do to help ?

Sadly, no. The license has been signed and returned to them, I pinged
today about status, and even checked to see if the code was delivered.
I guess sun is still digesting and chewing on it.
On the bright side, I got the copy of the JMS standalone TCK to sign
today...

Right now nothing - it's Sun internal and I just bother and ping.

Thanks Geir!
Are we waiting on SUN for something? How can I get involved? I'd
love to help expedite the process.

Email is such a bad medium.... I just want to make sure you
understand my point that it is important to get a TCK into the hands
of the devs as soon as possible.
Also, amq is large community, and even if a few of the devs currently
have access, I'm sure not everyone does.

And there's no argument from me there - earlier the better...

Regardless of wether or not they do a real release, I think it is
important to get TCKs into the developers hands as early as possible
in a development. Working with a TCK is not easy technically or
legally and adds a lot of overhead and stress to a project. I think
the incubator is good place for a projects like ActiveMQ or
ServiceMix to work out the procedures for certification.

I don't think activemq will stay in the incubator too long since it's
a solid piece of software and we have a great developer community.
Plus we want to start pushing out periodic milestone builds and
making one of the milestones be "passes tck" would be great!

I've set it up with them that we get simple addendums that add a new TCK
to our existing license. This keeps it simple for us and them. It's
really about internal Sun processes. Once again, Sun has done a re-org
inside of their legal dept, so that slows things down. I'm really
hoping to see this done Real Soon Now.

What exactly is involved in getting the TCK license? I'm just curious,
did the efforts that went toward acquiring access to the J2EE TCK for
Geronimo make access to other TCK licenses any easier?
