**Describe the bug**
From the way TypedMessageBuilder is set up, it looks like the best practice is to always have the key be a string. Is that the case?
What if you want the key to be an Avro object? You obviously send it as bytes, but the API will make it more difficult to get the Avro object back on the consumer.
