More fixes have been added to SVN.

In particular I started having problems with the caching; some browsers don't support it properly.
In any case, browsers will cache URLs requested by Javascript, so local caching just uses more space.

The version of the webapp in 
http://home.apache.org/~sebb/phonebook/phonebook.html
has been updated to the latest code as of r979796
