Using Git as a repository?

Hi,
So is there any objections if we move redback-core and archiva to git?
(redback-components and parent pom won't be concerned)

So all done.
Migration complete (still waiting the github mirrors to be up2date)
I will update various poms and documentation.

Enjoy!

@Eric,
to understand, you need to know that git-svn rebase will try to convert the
svn history to git history (if there is a diff). Olivier made a script to
prevent this (my) error but I didn't know it.

@Olivier,
great! Thank you very much.

because it's plenty of sub modules so releasing only few will be pain
as not very well supported by maven release.
So will need to have a separate git repository per component which
will be IMHO a pain to do (last time I checked git sub modules support
this was not really famous)

Yup possible too.
But I would prefer focus first on most important part of sources.

Does it make sense?
