   @hubcio Can I pick this one up? Also, @numinnex, I agree with your [comment](https://github.com/apache/iggy/pull/1462#issuecomment-2614442113) about using generic parameters in some of the types (`SenderKind`, `StreamStorage`, etc.). This way we will have compile time polymorphism instead of a runtime check.
