Kahadb backup

Hi Team,

Recently we faced an issue with activemq kahadb. So,we decided to take the
backup of kahadb,but as per activemq documentation,for this we need to
freeze the database. But,in our environment,we can't freeze the  journal. 

Is there any way to take the backup without freezing the journal?
Is there any possibility of replicating journal file to other server?
