Proofing Tool GUI V2.1 - 20130923 - Released
Hello!
I have released my tool V2.1 [1] which now has lots of cool improvements.
I have been using it to edit the Dictionary of Mozilla (en_GB) [2].
I had the crazy idea of unifying AOO and Mozilla en_GB dictionary so
that I could update both at the same time, but, first I must merge part
of AOO's into Mozilla's.
Thanks!
Kind regards,

I would be tempted to go back to to David Bartlett's well-commented
originals and work forwards from there:

Same for me, unfortunately. With my (outdated) copy of unmunch I get
output like:
$ unmunch hyph_en_GB.dic en_GB.aff
...
ut5s1m4
u2t1t4
ut4to2n4e
...
and nothing resembling the real English words that the main Hunspell
tool can extract from the compressed/obfuscated dictionary.
As I've already written, I'm only packaging this stuff, but not
maintaining it.
Regards,
Andrea.

Hello Rob,
I don't know why the dictionaries are not the same, but I would like to
unify them. This way I would work in a "master" dictionary for both
Mozilla and AOO/LO.
I was just wondering if someone could upload somewhere a list of all the
words from the AOO en_GB dictionary?
JZA and I tried to unmunch the "obfuscated" .dic and .aff but it
resulted in a corrupt filelist. What a challenge it was, I even
installed Debian in my VM, but I messed up the installation and then
used Ubuntu.
Thanks!
Kind regards,

That would be a good idea. Is there any good reason why the dictionaries
are not the same today?
