The current NettyRpcEndpointRef.send can be interrupted becahse it uses `LinkedBlockingQueue.put`, which may hang the application. E.g., https://amplab.cs.berkeley.edu/jenkins/job/SparkPullRequestBuilder/44062/consoleFull
